Treat people well, the way you would like to be treated. We demonstrate this most meaningfully in the way we treat each other and by the example we set for one another. In all our interactions with the community, trades, consultants and customers we seek to deal with other as we would have them deal with us. This has been the founding core of the company for over 30 years and we will never vary from this belief.

Green Building

Buildings generate up to 35% of greenhouse gases, 35% of landfill waste comes from construction and demolition activities, and 80% of all water is consumed in and around buildings. It’s clear that making buildings greener can have a significant impact on larger environmental goals. At Darwin, we take our commitment to the environment, future generations and improving the way we live very seriously. We have a corporate policy that 100% of the projects we construct must meet LEED or BUILT GREEN standards.

Social Housing

For over 20 years Darwin has been working in Partnership with BC Housing and numerous non-profit organizations to construct affordable housing across British Columbia. We are proud of our involvement in social housing projects and their tremendous impact to the community.

Community

Darwin Construction is a proud supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation for the past sixteen years through our annual golf tournament. The Make-A-Wish(R) Foundation is a foundation that grants the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions
