Richard White has been an Advisor to the Darwin Team for the past five years after a productive 35 year career supporting community development and land use planning in the public sector. He was responsible for many successful development initiatives including the award winning Lower Lonsdale Lands project and the City of North Vancouver Civic Centre development. He has contributed to Darwin’s recently completed projects and continues to advise on new and potential projects. In addition to a busy consulting practise, Richard also now serves on many not for profit Boards, Corporations, and Committees including at the University of British Columbia, the Squamish Nation, the College of Psychologists of BC, and the Fund for the Arts on the North Shore. He was elected to serve two terms on the North Vancouver Board of Education (1999-2005) serving as Chair and Vice-Chair during that time.
