Richard White has joined Darwin's Advisory Board after a productive 35 year career supporting planning and community development in the public service. He has been responsible for many successful development initiatives including the award winning Lower Lonsdale Lands project and the City of North Vancouver Civic Centre development. Richard sits on the Public Hearing Panel for the University of British Columbia and on its Land Use Committee. He is an Affiliate with the new Master's of Urban Design Program at UBC. He has chaired and served on many public and non-for-profit boards and societies including the Community Energy Association, Volleyball BC, and UBC's Centre for Urban Design and he was elected for two terms to serve on the North Vancouver Board of Education (1999-2005) serving as Chair and Vice Chair of the Board during that time.
